INVITATION FOR EXPRESSION OF INTEREST (EOI)
¡§Accounting Consultants And Technical Support For TUG Book Writing"
The KCBTMP has received a credit from the International Development Association and intends to apply a part of the proceeds of this credit to payments under the contract for ¡§Accounting Consultants And Technical Support For TUG Book Writing¡¨
The services include
„«TUG Bookwriting
„«providing adequate training in accounts book writing and reporting
(a) on the financial expenditure and
(b) on the procurement procedure followed at the TUG level.
The KCBTMP now invites eligible firms to indicate their interest in providing these services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, general qualifications and number of key staff and so forth).Firms may associate to enhance their qualification.
A firm will be selected in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank Guidelines: Selection of Consultants by World Bank Borrowers May 2004.

Expression of interest must be delivered to the address below by 13.00pm on 30.11.2009.
Eligibility criteria for submitting EOI for the Accounting services are:
„«The firms have Head office at the respective Districts (Tumkur, Uttar Kannada, Kolar, Belguam, Shimoga and Chickmagalur.) for which they are interested.
„«No of partners shall be min 2.
„«The partners shall know to read & write in local language (Kannada).
„«The firm shall be willing to visit villages/Tank Management Institutions located at various taluks of the respective districts.
„«The firm shall have Relevant experience of accounting in the last 5 years in PSUs or other organizations.
„«The firm with C&AG empanelled (preferably empanelled in the year 2009-10) may be preferred.
„«The firm having experience of double accounting system of accounting in the last 5 years in World Bank Aided Projects/any other external aided projects shall be preferred.
