For Quality Control of the new tanks in the ongoing project and the Addl. Financing Projects, a consultancy services for III Party Construction Supervision and quality control for the tank system rehabilitation works have been engaged by JSYS. An agreement has been entered into with M/s. EGIS India Consulting Engineers Pvt. Ltd. Faridabad (Haryana)  for Rs. 624 lakhs on 18.03.2010. after following the World Bank's procurement procedure and approval.

The Agreement with the consultant has been signed on 18.03.2010. The services of the Consultants has been commenced from 18..03.2010 and the consultant was asked to mobilze the key personnel and the field staff immediately.

The Consultant mobilized the key and the field staff in the month of April  and May 2010 except one key for Shikaripura. The Consultant has been given an advance of 10% of the contract amount as per the contractual conditions.

The Consultants are collecting  the ITDP's from each of the DPU's and checking the provisions and the design made in the estimate. The consultant personnel are in the process of visiting the tank system site for checking the quality and quantity of the executed items. They have been asked to submit the weekly diary with the details of their inspections along with the discrepancies if any and remedial measures.
