Appraisal using Participatory Techniques to clearly understand existing Tank situation

  • Undertaking transect walks.

Assessment of alternate development solutions through participatory techniques

  • Undertaking resource assessment for identifying social capital, natural resources, infrastructure etc. and wealth ranking.

  • Identification of opportunities for improvement.

  • Discuss existing conditions, opportunities of improvement and alternate choices at General Body.

Preparation of ITDP

  • Incorporating baseline status.

  • Planning for physical interventions including cost estimate.

  • Planning for resource mobilization.

  • Planning for O & M arrangement.

  • Planning for mobilisation of O & M charges.

  • Planning for R &R, indigenous people, Women’s Development Initiatives.

  • General Body Meeting for endorsing ITDP.

  • 3% upfront cash capital contribution collected from all TUG Members.

  • Grama Sabha Meeting to decide go ahead.

Technical and Administration Sanction of ITDP

  • The District Office of the JSYS clears ITDP after technical evaluation.

Signing of Implementation Phase Agreement

  • JSYS, CFT, TUG signs the Agreement for implementation with ITDP as one of its important annexure
